In fact, when i was younger, i had absolutely no natural aptitude in writing or speaking. Back in school, i was never really good at writing english essays. My usual scores would be ‘c’s and ‘d’s. If i was lucky, i would get a ‘b’ once in a while.

The laws are always changing even as fast as the thoughts of your mind. It is also important with the advancement of technology to understand the rules of your playing field which is no longer just on the printed page but is also now on the internet.
Record information in a log as soon as you find it and write down, in detail, where and when a search was made. Keep track of everything you look at, even those items which contain no useful information. Record the source by author and title, or the file number if that is how the institution listed it. Also list any contacts you make, whether by letter, phone or in person. Keeping a log can also help you plan future trips as well. You can list the sources you wish to review when you go to the library, courthouse, etc. And note the call or microfilm numbers so you save time once you are at the repository.
